In 1998, the International Organization for Standardization ISO introduced ISO12944 Corrosion Protection of Steel Structures by Protective Paint Systems (Corrosion Protection for Steel Structure Protective Coating Systems), a long-awaited international public standard for global corrosion protection technicians. ISO12944-2017 is the international organization for standardization for those engaged in paint corrosion prevention work owners, designers, consultants, coating contractors, paint production enterprises and other compiled standards, provides these personnel unit with a certain reference.

The International Organization for Standardization Standards

ISO 12944 Standard 2017 edition is one of the most widely used and most accepted standards in the steel structure coating protection industry.
